Living in the USA
So this is the view from the dining room of our rented house. The city of San Francisco can be seen across the bay with Alcatraz in front of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge on the far right. So from the living room we have a 110 degree view through full glass windows with a small balcony leading off the dining room and another balcony off the lounge and kitchen which means we have morning and afternoon sun.
The main bedroom and study is on the floor below and they have the same views as the floor above and then there is another floor below which leads out to a small garden with deckchairs and a hot tub (but before you collapse with envy - the hot tub doesn't work!)
This is a view from the lounge window of the suburb. We are in the second last street on top of a hill with a nature reserve at the end of that road. I think this photo also gives you some idea of the gradient of the street on which we live - a bit more on that later, but first I have to check if this is the best way to publish these photos. I'm still new to all this technology and having advanced into yet another decade it does take me a bit of time to get the hang of new things, so please bear with me while I do a bit more fiddling .....
